Spreading our wings

Since November New WayV singers performed for the Way Village church Christmas service and then took a rest during the cold weather, as it was our opinion that people were not likely to be very keen on coming out in adverse weather conditions.

The next concert was the last Wednesday in March.  Despite that fact that it was actually still freezing cold there was a pretty good attendance of 24 people, some of whom had not been before.

We were asked to perform for another local ladies group, but it was an inconvenient day.  We have also been asked to perform at a Salvation Army church in Tiverton. (Date to be confirmed)  We also intend to put on a concert and entertainment evening in the Parish Hall, in the hope of attracting people who will not come into a church building.
