Our first convert?

The 'Pennymoor Pop In' coffee morning saw a couple of teenagers enjoying computer games and bacon butties. Also a gentleman who lived next to the church a long time ago stopped by for a chat.
The Sunday service was very enjoyable, with a special guest speaker, who used to be a biker, giving his testimony. Very timely, as the gentleman with all the questions on Maundy Thursday had decided to join us. If he prayed the prayer at the end, we could have our first convert! Only God can say.
A couple of children attended the Wednesday afternoon tea and enjoyed 'Frustration', plus nice cakes, of course. ![]()

The gentleman concerned joined us again for our Harvest Celebration.
This was partly a concert by New WayV singers and a very short service without a sermon, just a brief reading from 'The Word for Today', a few short prayers, a few hymns and lots of food.
A quarter of those present were not church goers.
