Disappointments and hopes

November has been a little disappointing, we had no visitors to the Saturday coffee morning or the Wednesday afternoon tea.  However, there are some glimmers of light.  Our Sunday evening service went really well and our new convert (?) attended the service and was praying.

Our church meeting was very positive (prior to dates already mentioned) and we have made plans to do something different in December.

As our Sunday services are only on the first Sunday of the month it is too early for a Christmas service, so we are going to have a Carols and mince pies evening in the village pub on 18th December.  Let us pray that the villagers will turn out for it.
